How Long Do Porcelain Veneers Last?
Depending on the specific veneer product that you choose, porcelain veneers can last 5-20 years. The success of porcelain veneers improves with good oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and regular dental exams. If you grind your teeth while sleeping, Dr. Anderson may recommend a night-time mouth guard. It is recommended that you avoid biting into hard things, like pencils or ice, because the thin veneer may chip, break or peel. If the veneer is cracked or broken, it will need to be replaced.
